Print Store

Turn deliveries into revenue.

Your couples already love their photos. Give them the prints, frames, canvas, and albums they're already searching for — without lifting a finger after delivery.

No credit card. ~70% photographer payout, transparent fee. Print-on-demand globally — you ship nothing.

The conversion magic

The drawer your couples actually open.

Pic-Time-style left-panel storefront. Tabbed product categories. Live size selection. Stripe checkout in two taps. Built specifically for the moment after gallery delivery — when intent is highest.

Live storefront in every gallery. Open the sample at /g/j-and-m-wedding-o778t5/shop to feel it.

How the math works

~70% to you. Transparent fee. No hidden lab markup.

Walk through a real 8×10 fine art print — $28 retail, $8 wholesale. Wholesale is recovered first so you never lose money on a sale, then the rest splits between you and 12img based on your plan.

Numbers computed live from calculateSplitV2() in our codebase. Margins shown for the 8×10 fine art print. Other sizes scale proportionally — see /pricing for the full breakdown.

One question worth asking your current platform: Pic-Time and Pixieset don't openly disclose photographer margins. Ask them what cut you keep — and how lab cost is calculated. You'll either get a number, or you'll get silence.

Products your couples will actually buy.

Today, ready to checkout: fine art prints in 5 sizes. Coming soon (or sooner if your buyers ask): canvas, framed, wall art, albums. We use Prodigi — the global print-on-demand network covering 16 countries.

How it works

Three steps from gallery to print revenue.

Step 1

Enable prints in storefront settings

Ten-second toggle. Choose which sizes to offer, set your own retail prices above wholesale, done.

Step 2

Couples open their gallery

Every photo gets a Buy pill. The Pic-Time-style drawer slides in with tabbed product categories and live size selection.

Step 3

We handle the rest

Stripe checkout, Prodigi lab routing, shipping, tracking emails, returns. Money lands in your Stripe account on the rolling payout schedule.

Frequently asked

What does 12img take?

On Pro ($29/mo), 12img takes 0% of the print order — wholesale is recovered first, then the photographer keeps the rest. On an 8×10 example: $28 retail → $8 to the lab, $20 to the photographer, $0 to 12img. On Starter and Free tiers, 12img takes a small cut (10% and 15% of gross profit, respectively) on top of wholesale recovery. The math is computed by `getActiveSplit()` in `lib/prodigi/config.ts` — no hidden markups, anyone can verify.

Who actually prints my products?

Prodigi — the global print-on-demand network with labs in 16 countries. We don't run a lab. We partner with the largest one so your buyer's order routes to the lab nearest them and ships in 3–5 business days. Same labs Pic-Time and Pixieset use, the difference is we tell you who they are.

What if Prodigi doesn't have the product I want?

Every non-print category in the drawer (canvas, framed, wall art, albums) runs an interest-capture flow today. Buyers tell us what they want, we email both sides when the SKU goes live, and the photographer gets a one-click checkout link. We add categories based on real buyer demand, not based on what looks good in a feature list. Today the queue covers canvas, framed, metal, acrylic, dibond, albums, greeting cards, and calendars.

How fast do prints ship?

Print production is 3–5 business days at the Prodigi lab nearest your buyer. Shipping is then carrier-dependent (Economy 7–14 days, Standard 5–7, Express 2–4, Overnight 1–2). Buyers see the full estimate before checkout. Tracking emails fire automatically — you don't need to forward anything.

Can I set my own retail prices?

Yes. In `/dashboard/storefront/products` you set retail per size with a real-time margin display — green if healthy, yellow if thin, red if you're losing money to wholesale. The platform won't let you sell below wholesale. Default catalog prices are honest premium-print values (industry $15–25 band for 8×10) and you can move them up or down per studio.

What happens if a buyer charges back?

Stripe handles the dispute, but the wholesale-first split protects you: 12img keeps the platform fee in escrow until the chargeback window passes. Verified SKU policy means Prodigi never rejects an order after payment, which is the typical chargeback vector at competitor platforms running unverified catalogs.

Stop leaving print revenue on the table.

Free to start, no card required. Ship one print to one client and you've already paid back your first month at any tier.
