12img respects the intellectual property of others. If you believe content on 12img.com infringes your copyright, follow the procedure below.

Filing a takedown notice

To file a notification of claimed infringement under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), email our designated agent (below) with all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list).
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing — please include the full URL of every page or file on 12img.com.
  4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone, email.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Misrepresentations in a DMCA notice may subject you to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

Counter-notification

If your content was taken down and you believe it was a mistake or that you have the right to post it, you may send a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, telephone, and a statement consenting to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or any judicial district where 12img may be found if outside the US).

Send counter-notices to the same designated agent above. We forward counter-notices to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file suit within 10 business days, we may restore the content.

Repeat infringers

12img terminates accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, in our sole discretion.
